The Journal of Reproduction and Infertility (JRI) (ISSN: 2228-5482, eISSN: 2251-676X) is a peer-reviewed quarterly published by Avicenna Research Institute (ARI) affiliated to the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) since 1999. JRI has continued to publish cutting-edge scientific papers in collaboration with Iranian Society of Embryology & Reproductive Biology (ISERB) since 2015.
This quarterly has been offered the permission to be published by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and also Journals Commission of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education on July 26, 1999 and it is honored to have received a Scientific & Research rank from the commission on December 13, 2000.
The journal is devoted to the publication of all materials related to life sciences, nationally and internationally. Although research articles on reproduction, fertility and infertility are the main focuses of this journal, a wide array of subjects are also published, including research on reproductive biology, reproductive gynecology, reproductive medicine, gynecologic oncology affecting fertility, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive physiology, immunology, genetic and pathology, andrology, prenatal and preimplantation genetic diagnosis, sexually transmitted infections, reproductive law and bioethics, and epidemiological and psychological studies concerning reproduction and infertility.
Open Access Policy (OA)
This peer-reviewed journal provides free, immediate, permanent, full-text, online access to its digital scientific content for all the readers. All journal papers are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, which permits any non-commercial use, sharing, adaptation, distribution and reproduction in any medium or format, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source. The journal's requirements for manuscript submissions are based on the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
This quarterly is distributed to all the authors, and members of the editorial board, university libraries, infertility treatment centers and all research centers working on infertility throughout the country, mostly on free of charge basis.
License and Copyright Agreement
In submitting the manuscript to the journal, the authors certify that (1) they are authorized by their co-authors to enter into these agreements; (2) the work submitted has not been published elsewhere, except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, and thesis; (3) that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; (4) that its publication has been approved by all the author(s) and by the responsible authorities , whether implicitly or explicitly, of the institutes where the work has been performed; and (5) they have the right to reproduce any material that has already been published or copyrighted elsewhere
Authors who publish with Journal of Reproduction and Infertility have the right to enter into independent, additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work, with an acknowledgment of its first publication in this journal.
Article Processing and Subscription Charges
JRI, as an open-access journal, is committed to providing a rigorous publication platform for both authors and readers. As the “open access” journal is sponsored by the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), there is no publication fee for submitting and publishing the manuscripts. As a not-for-profit publisher, journal costs including editorial assistance, article production, editing and indexing besides subscription fee are covered by Avicenna Research Institute (ARI).
This quarterly as the scientific journal of Avicenna Research Institute (ARI) accepts no advertisement and neither the editors nor the publisher guarantees any product or service introduced in articles.
